In November of 2016, Dr. Breno Lima began a long and hard battle with a life-threatening disease. Being the physician he worked so hard to become, he tried to continue to be there for his patients while fighting his own medical condition. It didn’t take long before the battle he was fighting would soon take away the one thing he was so good at.

In December 2016, he had no choice but to stop treating his patients and focus on the battle in front of him. On May 24, 2017, Dr. Lima ended his battle and passed away. He will always remain a part of the Bowden Eye family. We hope to one day put together a foundation in his honor so that we can continue to carry his name and legacy. Rest in Peace, Dr. Lima.
